Whenever you think of him, words come to your mind like: dreamy, optimistic, flexible and adaptable to any situation. What more can I ask for one travel companion like him? That he plays the guitar and encourages everyone who is on his surroundings? Well yes, he does too.
He loves geography and history. It easily remembers all the information searched and all the details, but a lot of times he changes the name of the place to make it more interesting when you search on Google Maps! He doesn’t understand too much about animals, but he makes friends easily, especially monkeys who steal his Nutella from breakfast.
He usually takes the world by storm and travel around it slowly. He easily puts people in his pocket with his easy and friendly demeanor that characterizes him. Lover of Excel Tables but the first who don’t follow them, his best time of the day is when you want to share a good talk while holding a string instrument in his hand.

La Laia
If someone covered my eyes and made me fly to an unknown place, with Laia I would leave more calmly. She is one of those people with whom you would go to any country in the world. Always attentive and transparent, she takes care of every detail and makes the people around her feel comfortable and happy.
Lover of photography and future guitarist, she lives with passion everything she does. She always says that her job is to make boys and girls good people. And she preaches it with her example. She loves animals and everything that revolves around them; she is annoyed by injustices and inequalities; and she is always curious to learn new things and soak up new experiences.
She has traveled to many corners of the world visiting local markets and sharing time with the people there. To do this, you need bravery, courage and character; and she has it. Slowly awake, if you want to prepare a surprise party for her, let her not miss either the wine or the brie cheese; although if you don’t have any, don’t worry. She is already happy with people…

Our car
When you consider traveling around Africa with your car you think the best solution is a 4×4. We, ignorant of the mechanics, listened about some different brands like Toyota, Nissan or Land Rover, ideal for their ease of finding parts and at the same time, be highly reliable cars. Finally, destiny wanted us to travel with a Toyota Land Cruiser.
This was the first car we saw. It was just around Christmas and it took about 6 months to start our adventure. We were confined and we searched on Internet for what would be our third travel companion. Luckily, a couple of Tona were selling their car and we didn’t think twice. They say intuitions must be followed, and that is how we did it.
It is an old car, from 2002, but very well maintained. We have been preparing it for the last months before boarding it and hope it can travel many kilometers without troubles across the African continent! Can you help us putting a name for the car???
